Every year, the Countdown to Summer helps us raise the funds needed to give New York City's neediest children the summer vacation they look forward to and deserve.
Nearly 75 percent of all funding that The Fresh Air Fund receives comes from friends like you.
Each year, we provide inner-city children with free camping programs. Camp adventures include hikes in the forest, swimming in lakes, learning about computers and much more.
In over 300 Friendly Towns in 13 Northeastern states from Virginia to Maine and even Canada, children from New York City stay with volunteer host families to participate in their summer activites and form lasting bonds.
